ACS offers a series of contactless smart card reader/writers to address the growing popularity and demand in contactless applications. Hinged on the 13.56 MHz RFID technology, these readers are developed to support various contactless protocols such as ISO 14443 Type A and B, MIFARE ®, FeliCa, and NFC (near field communication) to facilitate their use in a wide range of applications.

	The ACR120 Contactless Smart Card Reader is a compact and cost-effective smart card contactless reader and writer. Developed based on the 13.56 MHz contactless (RFID) technology, it supports MIFARE® and ISO 14443 A and B cards. ACR120 has a proximity operating distance of up to 5 cm, depending on the type of contactless tag in use. The versatile reader is also available in module form, as well as in both USB and Serial interfaces, allowing the device to be easily integrated into the PC environment and other systems. The compact design of ACR120 makes installation quick and handy in any location, making it an ideal tool for a broad range of applications, including public transport terminal, physical and logical access control, and even vending machines.

	The ACR122U NFC Reader is a PC-linked contactless smart card reader/writer developed based on the 13.56 MHz Contactless (RFID) Technology. Compliant with the ISO/IEC18092 standard for Near Field Communication (NFC), it supports MIFARE®, ISO 14443 A and B cards and all four types of NFC tags. ACR122U is a plug-and-play USB device allowing interoperability with different devices and applications. With an access speed of up to 424 kbps and a full USB speed of up to 12 Mbps. The ACR122U NFC Reader is ideal for both secure personal identity verification and online micro-payment transactions, access control, e-payment, e-ticketing for events and mass transit, toll road fare collection and network authentication.

	The ACR122T is the token version of the ACR122 NFC Contactless Smart Card Reader, and is especially designed for NFC applications requiring great portability and utmost user convenience. Developed based on the 13.56 MHz RFID technology and the ISO/IEC 18092 NFC standard, it supports ISO 14443 Type A and B, Mifarez, FeliCa and NFC contactless technologies. The extremely portable ACR122T is ideal for home banking and home shopping situations, e-commerce, checking the balance of electronic purses, network access control, customer loyalty, identification and authentication and online gaming.

	The ACR122S NFC Contactless Smart Card Reader is the serial interface reader in the ACR122 family developed based on the 13.56 MHz Contactless (RFID) Technology and compliant with the ISO/IEC 18092 Standard for Near Field Communication (NFC). ACR122S is a plug and play device and comes with a built-in ISO 7816 SAM slot for enhanced security, a buzzer and two LEDs for rich user interaction. The reader can also read and write faster and more efficiently by making use of up to 424 Kbps for tag access. ACR122S is also available in module form for easy integration into bigger machines, like POS terminals, physical access devices and vending machines. Typical applications of the ACR122S reader include e-payment, e-ticketing for events and mass transit, toll road fare collection and network authentication.

	The ACR122L is the first product in the ACS NFC contactless reader product line to feature a graphic LCD for richer user interaction. Developed based on the 13.56 MHz RFID technology and the ISO/IEC 18092 NFC standard, it supports ISO 14443 Type A and B cards, Mifare, FeliCa and NFC technologies, including all 4 types of NFC tags and all 3 modes – reader, peer-to-peer and card emulation modes. 	Combines fingerprint sensor and smart card reader, using the same Active Capacitive Sensing technology as ADT60 BioSIMKey, the AET60 BioCardKey ensures the highest quality images to be used with full-size smart cards. It improves security and efficiency of network access, e-commerce, home banking and point-of-sales transactions. Since fingerprints cannot be lost, duplicated, stolen or forgotten, the product range is widely regarded as providing a more reliable and convenient solution than traditional security devices. AET62 facilitates a simple and intuitive exchange of information, making it ideal for applications such as e-Payment, e-Government, e-Healthcare, access control and network security. With its ergonomic design, it enables hassle-free fingerprint and contactless card authentication for users. The core security mechanisms of AET62 include three-factor authentication and match-on device authentication. Three-factor authentication requires a user to verify something “he has” (smart card), something “he knows” (PIN/password) and something “he is” (fingerprint), before enabling him to proceed with any transaction. Meanwhile, AET62 ensures maximum security by providing match-on device authentication using its default fingerprint algorithm, in which fingerprint template extraction and matching are performed on the device itself and not in the PC, which is more vulnerable to security attacks.
